DML: I Respond to 5 Interesting Emails You Sent Me

Each day, I receive thousands of messages and emails. Below are several of them from the past 24 hours, and the response I’ve given to each. NOTE: I do not include the last name of the sender unless they explicitly request that I do so.

From Peggy:
Dennis, I cannot express how sad I am that you decided to pull THE TRUTH after just 18 episodes.  It was my favorite show.

DML: Peggy, Peggy, Peggy. We did not “pull The Truth.” As I’ve noted countless times, we are beta testing the show, and we will beta test our new micro shows as the month of May moves along. It’s like a network testing a pilot program. This was always the plan. This month we will make tweaks to “The Truth.” Then, towards the end of the month, we will set its formula in stone. We will be putting out a survey this evening at 8:30 p.m. ET about specifics pertaining to the show. We hope you take the survey! Make no mistake, “The Truth,” and other new programs, are set to be a staple on our up and coming network.

From Lou:
I’ve given up on Trump.  It has nothing to do with what you, Fox News, the mainstream media, or anyone else has reported good or bad.  It has to do with what he says and does… it never matches.  The blind fools who want to blame it all on Congress and Paul Ryan are the voters who are misinformed.  I originally supported someone else for POTUS but moved over to Trump later in the campaign, reluctantly.  The wall won’t be funded, the healthcare debacle is horrible, the NAFTA flip flop put me over the edge.  He’s a nationalist, he’s a globalist, he’s clueless.  He is so worried about himself and his approval rating that he’s forgotten the people who put him in the office.   With Trump it’s a lot of hot air and very little results.  He’s a 4 year president.

DML: Lou. Those are harsh words. I say, it’s too early to be where you are at this point, but I understand you’re upset, and I respect your opinion. Like you, I have my fears that this job isn’t a great fit for him, BUT, we have to give it some time. Give it some time!

From Katie:
I just wanted to ask if you happen to actually have any faith left in our president. DML, we are all allowed to change our minds. You seem to be forecasting his failure these days. Is this really what you see happening now? I’m curious.

DML: Not sure what program you are watching, but I am not forecasting his failures, Katie. I never thought a wall would go up in the manner to which he described it — this is nothing new. And I KNEW Mexico would never pay for it.

I support President Trump. I give him an ‘A’ for effort, thus far, and I pray for him daily. That said, I think he needs to revisit many things to ensure his path ahead is laden with success. For example, he needs some new blood in the White House. I’ve laid out my thoughts and concerns many times, and, unfortunately, they tend to be correct. Bottom line, I believe he can get the job done if tweaks are made.

From Lori:
Thank you for your brutal honesty on yesterday’s W&T.  It was the sobering truth, and that is refreshing media!  But most of all, thank you for making us laugh after the depressing truth.  You are hilarious and laughter is so good for the soul.  I do have an important question….what do we as citizens do to get President Trump to focus on keeping his promises?  I know it must be very difficult for him to get these things done when even the people in Congress who are supposed to be on his (our) side, but instead scheme against him (and us).  What can we do?  Love ya and GOD BLESS TEAM DML!

DML: President Trump should be honored to serve people like yourself. The love people express for him is immeasurable. But, and this is a big BUT, you have to remember he works for you. You have to remember you have one country, and one life to live. Thus, you should write to the White House as often as possible. You should call and complain when you don’t like what’s going on. Believe me, although your individual message may not get to his desk, the collection of comments do. That said, thank you for the kind remarks.

From Lisa:
Is it true that Hannity and O’Reilly do not like each other?

DML: Yes.
