DML: I Respond to 3 Interesting Emails You Sent Me

Each day, I receive thousands of messages and emails. Below are three I’ve received in the past 24 hours, and the response I’ve given to each. NOTE: I do not include the last name of the sender unless they explicitly request that I do so.

DML, first I want to tell you I get all my news from you. I don’t even watch Fox anymore except for Hannity. I trust what you report. Would you be so kind as to explain the process of impeachment not only for myself but for your many followers. I may have understood the process wrong but I’d like your take on it as it will help all of us to understand it. I pray every day for my president and for my country. May God bless you and your family, our troops, (my husband is a Vietnam vet), my president and our United States of America. Thank you for reading this. Marsha

DML: First, please tell your husband I said thank you for his service.  Second, we work very hard to publish and report the news all day long.  I never realized how much work it would be, nor did I envision having to work 7 days per week, 16 hour days, which I do as CEO.  That said, it’s much appreciated when we get positive feedback like yours — it’s nice to know we’re doing something right.  As for the impeachment process, it’s not something I can explain in writing.  I will do it on my next Walk & Talk which I plan to do this evening.  If rain holds me back tonight, I will do one on Sunday afternoon.

Dennis, How can Mueller be an independent counselor when he was a mentor to Comey back in the day? Even this stacks the deck against trump, doesn’t it? The whole Ashcroft scenario in the hospital back in the day shows Mueller and Comey are loyal to each other.Jarrett at Fox News brought up that Mueller should recuse himself.

I just want everything judged on facts not friendships and loyalties.  If anyone on Trump’s team did anything wrong then yes, they should be exposed, but I am hoping Mueller turns over other rocks that lead to Democrat skeletons in the closet during the campaign season. Unmasking and leaking seems to be pushed into the background – the Republicans really need to push back and expose current Democrat issues and scandals. Can Mueller in your opinion be truly independent?  For the sake of the country and Americans – I hope so. George

DML: You can’t look at this as if it is a court case.  This is not Trump v. Comey, and Mueller is not the judge and jury.

Mueller isn’t hunting for facts against that can get Comey off the hook.   He is investigating the possibility that Russia influenced the 2016 elections, and that the Trump team, and possibly Trump himself, played a role.

The memos written by Comey are just that… memos.  Assuming Trump and his team are guilty of some wrongdoing, it will be revealed in the facts, not the memos.  Assuming Trump and his team are innocent, it will be revealed by facts, not memos.

We can sit here and pick at every person they assign and ultimately find something that suggests he or she should not be leading the investigation.  There is no “perfect person.”  I say let the investigation move forward.  Let them come back with a bunch of hot air so we can all move on.

As for holding the Democrats accountable, you have a better chance at walking on water.  But please don’t try such a thing, we did a story last week about a pastor who tried to walk and water and ended up attacked and killed by crocs.

Mr. Lynch, I am a police officer and I cannot thank you enough for the letter you sent President Trump on Friday evening. You really nailed it all on the head. My job, and the job of my fellow officers has gotten near impossible over the past 5 years. I too blame Obama. To have the president honor us all was indeed a “boost of morale” as you described. I love your letters to the president. I believe you will one day be sitting in his seat and receiving letters yourself. Thanks again!

DML: Michael, great name by the way. Thank you for the kind words, but more importantly, thank you for what you do as a police officer. Stay safe our there!
