DML: I Respond to 3 Interesting Emails You Sent Me

Each day I receive a large amount of messages from our readers.  Today, I respond to 3 of them.

If you’d like to send me a message, use the Submit News button at the top of the website.

FROM BARBARA M.
You are so annoying.  You may as well join the other losers in the mainstream media.

DML: Your public response left underneath my letter to the president last night is not very nice.  That said, my response to you is this: “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.”  May you find peace within yourself. God bless.

FROM ROSE
I took your poll this morning.
The president is losing me with his tweets.  Some of your readers leave comments stating this is all part of the big “Drain The Swamp” plan.  What are they thinking, these people?  The media has always been biased and false reporting is nothing new.  CNN and The New York Times are going NOWHERE.  CNN’s biased reporting will go unpunished just like Trump’s comment about grabbing women by the crotch.  A president doesn’t need a twitter account.  A president needs focus.  I want Obama’s policies erased from existence.  Trump better start focusing on policies instead of punks in the media.  THIS HOUSE LOVES DML.

DML: Rose, I urge you to step back and take a deep breath.  I had originally placed a July 1 deadline for significant improvements to be made, but I am pushing the deadline out to September 1.  There are a few small moves which I’ve seen this week  — they could develop into positive actions — will explain more during Walk & Talk.

FROM SANDY
DML, the Walk & Talk yesterday was hysterical.  I would say it was the funniest one ever but the truth is every Walk & Talk is funnier than the last.  I don’t know how you do it without a script.  You add comedy, news, education and useful opinion into every walk.  This is your best format and if this is all you ever do it’s enough for me.  I  would be remiss not to mention my feelings about Harlan. He isn’t in your league and he cannot be trusted. His truth colors (Democrat, Bernie supporter) showed on most days if one looked hard enough.  You don’t need him to build your network, and you shouldn’t be getting sick over it.  Just sayin’

DML: Hi Sandy.  I appreciate the kind words about the Walk & Talks.  Make no mistake, we are moving forward and building out what I started long before Harlan was ever around.  Although I am having to deal with some medical issues, there is no plan to stop building DML.  All that’s being done differently is the pace at which I move and work. I am delegating more to the people who truly love me.  These are people who believe in the DML brand no matter what.

As for Harlan, he is a nice person, and I wish him huge success, but I prefer my readers not send me additional comments about him.  Thus, why I publish this one comment.  Fact is, I did not start this business with Harlan.  He was an independent contractor hired in January.  I brought him into my circle because I saw talent waiting to be unveiled, and because I thought he could develop into someone we eventually hired permanently.  Truth is, Harlan had NOTHING to do with our core business.  In fact, when I started feeling less than 100%, I sat Harlan down two weeks ago and explained he was not going to enjoy our new pace, nor did I think our end game was a good fit for him.  Truth is, it was me who hit the brakes, not him.  We spoke for hours and we agreed to give it another two weeks and then to check back.  Nobody should be mad at him.  He did not “abandon” DML.  Fact is, it took him two weeks to realize I was correct and that my warning was valid.   His jumping onto the reelection committee for Trump was total coincidence.   People refer to the one kitchen episode where there appeared to be static between us.  It’s comical to read those comments.

Harlan’s politics are different than mine.  We always debated about this stuff, sometimes more harshly than others.  But once the camera turned off we laughed and joked like friends.  Again, he did not abandon me, nor did we have a fight, nor are we on bad terms.  Truth is today marks two weeks since we sat down, I would have cancelled our contract today — it wasn’t the right fit.   He’s 26 and wants to conquer the world just like I did when I was 26.  Maybe he will.
