Dear DML, I’ve been working in the automotive, diesel and heavy duty diesel for nearly 13 years. I went to a vocational school in my junior and senior years in high school for automotive technology. I also have an honors degree from Lincoln Technical Institute of Indianapolis. People are complaining about the pull out of the Pairs Climate Agreement but they forget about the 3 major vehicle companies that are involved in scandals of cheating US emissions standards. The three companies I’m talking about are Volkswagen, Audi (both German owned) and Fiat (Italian owned). They knowingly put secondary software in their diesel engine control modules that negate emission control systems to boost fuel economy and sell their vehicles hoping nobody finds out about their horrible emissions production. This is one of many reason why I had no faith in the agreement. If they were so worried about the environment why produce these cars that are subpar to their emission standards and hope no one catches on.
DML: Thank you for the insight, Zach.
I just want to thank Dennis for all he’s doing! I think it’s time to break out a copy of Henny Penny in all those cry rooms (The sky is falling! The sky is falling!) I sincerely appreciate the fact that you report truth, and not just what people want to hear. Back you all the way!
DML: The liberals are so dramatic, I’m not sure if I should laugh or cry. Thanks for the kind words and support.
The Paris Agreement is toast without the big money which was pledged by the US (including our $1 billion down payment). Germany can’t even keep its promise with NATO payments. And, which other country in the world wouldn’t sign on to the Paris Agreement to get free American dollars? Please also look at the Washington Post article yesterday about the US never properly joining the Paris Agreement. Thanks and love what you are all doing. Your hard work and dedication really shows. — Ann
DML: As I said the other day, “They be European in their pants without us.”
Your letters to the president will one day be a book. Last night, your letter hit every note and it felt like you were speaking for me. The letters are amazingly written, to the point, respectful, and delivered without fear or favor. You are a champion who will one day be the president, I have no doubts about it.
DML: WOW! Thanks Mel.
Kathy Griffin is now holding a press conference today to slam the Trump family for bullying her. What is the world coming to?
DML: I said it yesterday during the Walk & Talk, she is preparing to monetize this event in the short and long term. Watch it unfold.
