DML: I Respond to 5 Interesting Emails You Sent Me

Each day, I receive thousands of messages and emails. Below are 5 I’ve received in the past 24 hours, and the response I’ve given to each. NOTE: I do not include the last name of the sender unless they explicitly request that I do so.

DML & Staff:  Concerning foreign exchange students; YOU ARE 100% RIGHT, DML!!!
Please allow me to add something. I have a friend whose daughter attended the University of Pittsburgh for pre-Med and graduated with a 4.0.  Subsequently, she applied to their (Univ of Pgh) school of dental medicine and was turned down 3 yrs in a row.

Could it be because she was from Pittsburgh and only paid in-state tuition? Absolutely! The foreigners pay “out of country” tuition rates which is 3 X’s HIGHER than in-state (out of state is 2 X’s higher).  The school of medicine, and the school of dental medicine are filled with almost exclusively foreigners. They are able to meet racial quotas as their black students are from countries in Africa!!!

This is a travesty. She gave up on her dream of becoming an orthodontist because she didn’t want to apply elsewhere & have to leave PA where she was talking care of her elderly grandfather.

This immigration nonsense has to stop altogether. My son just graduated from Penn State Univ. with a bachelors in I.T. and will now compete for jobs with people from India who are willing to work for peanuts. This makes me sick!!  Thanks for all you and Team DML do for us. I’m a long time follower.

DML:  Robin, you are referring to the debate I had with Harlan yesterday during the Walk & Talk. Although a smart young man, Harlan represents the mindset of many liberals and moderate Republicans when viewing the foreign student dilemma.   I prefer to give open spots to our American students like your friend’s daughter.  If there are vacancies left over then we fill the spots with foreigners. Furthermore, I like the idea of teaching these foreign students and then sending them home to build their countries.

Mr. Lynch, Thank you for providing a forum for fair, honest and balanced news. It’s something our country has been missing for far too long. I believe President Trump considers your thoughts and suggestions, which is why I am reaching out to you. As a mother of a Type 1 Diabetic, health care for pre-existing conditions is of great concern. Insulin is a lifeline for my son and all Type 1 Diabetics. Charging increased premiums for pre-existing conditions will be devastating for Type 1 Diabetics. I fear many lawmakers are uneducated on diabetes and will make lifesaving decision without the facts. You have become the voice of so many Americans and I can’t thank you enough for helping us be heard. May you, your family and staff stay healthy and safe as you work to Make America Great Again.

DML:  Jane, unfortunately it takes time to read and understand these bills, and so I am just getting my hands around it today.   That said, once I understand it in full I will write to the president and voice the concerns of my readers, including those you point out.

I don’t know if you know it, but some of your loyal followers are eating you alive about your article regarding the money Trump spent on furniture for the White House. Hey I agree with you, but they are going off their rockers. Just FYI.

DML: Who paid for their rockers? LOL

DML, President Trump may have spent more money on the furniture in the White House and he spends a lot going back to Mar-a-Largo, but he doesn’t take a salary.

DML: And your point is?  First, remember our job is to report what’s going on.  Only the simple minded who want to ignore what they don’t like shoot the messenger.  Second, the salary for the president is a little less then half a million per year.  Just one trip to Mar-a-Largo far exceeds his salary cut.  Personally, I can care less what he spends if he fixes what is broken.  But as far as our reporting the facts, if you don’t like it you should probably find another source because in the same way Trump won’t stop tweeting, I won’t stop reporting.

DML, Have you been invited to participate in    I don’t agree with all the conservative voices there, but just thinking about a way for you to get more recognition.   Just a thought.

DML: No!  Townhall’s editor is a total SOB, and the paper / site is owned by Salem Communications (swamp).  When I was considering the idea to explore a run for office in 2015, a writer from Townhall asked if she could get the exclusive on my speaking tour.

At the time, I had multiple news outlets to choose from but picked Townhall because they had written great articles about my films in the past.  We agreed on a 3-part series.  The first article was to cover the kickoff speech in Illinois and why people were asking me to run for office.  The second article was about why I thought I’d win, and it covered my tour in Texas.  The third and last article was supposed to cover my big announcement in Arizona where 800 people including Sheriff Joe Arpaio planned a huge event in my honor.

Townhall ran the first two articles and they were the most shared stories on the Townhall website.  The writer was so excited to do the 3rd article after she saw my big speech and the reaction from the people of AZ when I said I would run for office.    She showed the speech and my interview with Megyn Kelly to her editor.  He immediately cut ties with me for no reason.  Townhall and Salem totally screwed me.  When I called the writer she was in tears, and said the paper did not want to legitimize my run for office, and they were planning to support Ben Carson.  Here is the BS email I received from him:
