Good morning. Today is April, 28, and below are the stories I am watching this Sunday.

FROM THE RIGHT
FOX NEWS is reporting: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez held a 5k in Queens Saturday that she billed as “a Family Fun Run supporting U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal on the Saturday following Earth Day.”

But many of the 400 runners didn’t realize their $30 registration fees were going directly into the lawmaker’s campaign coffers.“We’re getting together for our own health, for our planet’s health … and to fight for the Green New Deal together,” the freshman Democrat told the participants before they set off.

The participants paid more than $11,000 all told. Even kids as young as 3 became unknowing political donors — ponying up $20 fees to join a kids’ 1k.

But by fudging the fact that those fees were actually campaign contributions, AOC may have enticed constituents into inadvertently breaking federal election laws.

Parents, for example, can’t contribute their own funds in a child’s name.

The amount raised is a drop in the bucket for AOC, whose superstar status and combative Twitter feed vaulted her into the fundraising stratosphere in the first quarter of this year, when she raised $726,000 through online solicitations.

But only 4 percent of that total came from constituents in her own district.

MY TAKE: This woman is a bigger con artist than Hillary.  AOC is pawning herself off as a Latina super hero, but it’s a matter of time before she’s ousted.

FROM THE LEFT
AXIOS is reporting the FBI is assisting San Diego County police in the investigation into a shooting in Chabad of Poway Synagogue, which killed 1 woman and wounded 3 people Saturday.

Details: Poway Mayor Steve Vaus said to MSNBC it’s a “hate crime.” County Sheriff William Gore said the only suspect is 19-year-old John Earnest. They’re investigating reports of a link to an anti-Semitic online manifesto and his possible involvement in the arson and vandalism of a mosque in Escondido, Gore said.

The backdrop: In an online post an hour before the synagogue shooting, a person identifying themselves as John Earnest, a nursing school student, claimed responsibility for the Escondido Mosque attack. The poster praised the New Zealand mosques massacre and the Tree of Life Synagogue, Pittsburgh, mass shooting. California State University, San Marcos, confirmed to AP there’s a student fitting that description listed with them.

MY TAKE: In addition to being sick and evil, I’m willing to be this guy turns out to be a “gamer.”  These video games where people just kill other people for fun are dangerous.

FROM THE MIDDLE
WSJ is reporting U.S. aviation regulators and congressional investigators are looking into complaints by roughly a dozen purported whistleblowers alleging safety problems with Boeing’s beleaguered 737 MAX jets, according to government officials familiar with the matter.

Neither the individuals nor the complaints have been made public and, according to these officials, only some of the allegations pertain to the design of a suspect flight-control feature or operation of specific sensors that are central to fatal crashes of a pair of 737 MAX aircraft.

But the number of allegations—and the fact that they are being pursued by an array of investigators—suggests such confidential complaints could become a significant part of ongoing inquiries by federal prosecutors, various Transportation Department offices and committees on Capitol Hill. The allegations have come from some Federal Aviation Administration employees, as well as from current and former Boeing workers, the officials said.

MY TAKE: No only do all these planes need to be grounded by Boeing needs a full blown investigation.

ALSO…The New York attorney general’s office is investigating potential financial and disclosure problems at the National Rifle Association, amid boardroom turmoil at the group that led Saturday to the departure of NRA President Oliver North after a bruising internal political battle.

The probe is looking into alleged financial misconduct of the kind that Mr. North has raised in the internal battles. A spokeswoman for Attorney General Letitia James confirmed the probe and said subpoenas have been issued, but had no further comment.

Mr. North, in a letter read to NRA members Saturday morning at the group’s annual meeting in Indianapolis, said he had hoped to be renominated for a second one-year term as president, but “I am now informed that will not happen.”

MY TAKE: The LEFT is relishing in this story, and I shake my head thinking of how the RIGHT just eats their own.
