WOW! Just WOW! That’s all I can say after listening to President Trump command the respect he deserves as the president of the most powerful nation in the world.
The president was remarkable and direct. He spoke brilliantly, powerfully, and in a common speak, and leaves no question about how serious he is about making America great again, safe again, and the leader of the free world.
President Trump took the podium at the United Nations conference on Tuesday and gave a speech that will be talked about for years to come, make no mistake — this speech lives on for a long time.
The speech started with Trump listing some of the more measurable achievement made since he took office. He said the stock market is at an all-time high, unemployment is the lowest it has been in 16 years, there are more people working than ever before in U.S., and companies are moving back to America; and he put out the reminder that $700B is being invested in the U.S. military and defense, making it the strongest it’s ever been.
Trump said the U.S. is a welcoming nation, and a friend to those who want its friendship, but that it will protect itself and put its interests in front of all else. He said other nations should do the same. He also said that all nations should operate on two principals: one, to respect its own nation and cultures, and two, to respect the cultures and rules of other nations.
Trump then moved on to address the serious threats facing America, and the world.
He pointed out Venezuela’s rogue regime, he lashed out at Iran and terrorism, but the comments he made about North Korea were blunt and “pure Trump.” He said N. Korea threatens the entire world, and that if the rogue nation launches attacks on the U.S. or its allies, the U.S. will totally destroy North Korea. He denounced North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un by telling the United Nations General Assembly that “Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself.”
Below are some videos and tweets highlighting the speech:
