President Donald J. Trump tweeted about his approval rating late Friday evening, citing one positive poll and blasting a negative one.

Tweet 1:@Rasmussen_Poll just came out at 48% approval rate despite the constant and intense Fake News. Higher than Election Day and higher than President Obama. Rasmussen was one of the most accurate Election Day polls!

According to Rassmussen:

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll, Friday, August 31, 2018

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 35% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 42% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -7. (See trends).

Next, Trump referenced a new Washington Post-ABC News poll out Friday that indicated the presiden’t disapproval rating hit a high point of 60%, according, with just 36% of those polled saying they approve of his job performance. The ABC News report said Trump’s average approval rating is the lowest of any modern president.

Trump blasted the poll, calling it a “suppression poll” and declaring, “They will never learn!”

Tweet 2: The ABC/Washington Post Poll was by far the least accurate one 2 weeks out from the 2016 Election. I call it a suppression poll – but by Election Day they brought us, out of shame, to about even. They will never learn!

Trump then tweeted about his trip to North Carolina Friday.

Tweet 3: Great day in North Carolina where Republicans will do very well!

Finally, Trump tweeted once again about the leaked “off the record” comments he made to Bloomberg about a trade deal with Canada, after addressing the issue in an earlier tweet and in comments he made on his trip to North Carolina. Trump womdered if an apology would be forthcominng.

Tweet 4: Still can’t believe that Bloomberg violated a firm OFF THE RECORD statement. Will they put out an apology?

  1. An apology from anyone one in the media? Keep dreaming. The best off the record comment is one that is not spoken. Loose lips, sink ships, the president needs to learn that one.

  2. What is sickening is Bloombergs betrayal of confidence has caused turmoil with Trade negotiations in the Canada/NAFTA deal. This was no accident this was aimed to harm President trumps efforts to support the United States of America. This hurts ALL citizens & is absolutely shameful.
We are very blessed this President has chosen to be so transparent with everything particularly sharing how the Presidential processes work. Bloombergs disgusting acts here have undermined this trust and are training the President to be less transparent because our media can NOT be responsible with a basic loyalty to this Nation. This was a very Anti-American bitch move by Mainstream media’s, Bloomberg!
