The June report for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) isn’t reflecting well on new leader Tom Perez, as the party is slipping deeper and deeper into debt.

The DNC reported a $1.9 million debt for the month of May, and the new FEC report reveals a $3.3 million debt for June.

DNC fundraising income for the month of June was reported as just over $5.5 million, up from $4.29 million reported for May, which was reportedly the lowest for the month of May since 2003.

Meanwhile, fundraising for the Obama Foundation is skyrocketing, according to a recent report, as over eight donors have recently contributed at least one million dollars each. (Scroll down for more.)

Republicans are doing well in fundraising also, reporting $10.9 million for the month of May, with no debt, and raising a record $13.4 million for the month of June, for a total of $75.3 million so far in 2017, according to a report in The Hill.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) announced a bank balance of $44.7 million, stating their 2017 fundraising is the most they have ever raised in June of a “nonpresidential” year.
