In a recent drug operation, Hernando County, Florida, police seized nearly 5,500 packages of heroin, some of which appeared to show President Donald Trump’s face.
Following a nearly year-long investigation into the sale of heroin flowing through Hernando County, Sheriff Al Nienhuis unveiled his findings on Friday.
Included with this information, Nienhuis explained that Kelvin Scot Johnson, who was arrested for trafficking heroin following the investigation, used packets of the drug featuring the face of the new president.
Johnson is allegedly responsible for distributing heroin to and from Hernando County and into the Tampa Bay area. Police interest in the suspect was galvanized after a post office employee noticed a package of heroin Johnson attempted to ship and authorities were contacted.
Johnson is currently incarcerated with bond set at $75,000.
