Last weekend a Florida man called 911 to report his stash of cocaine had gone missing.

David Blackmon, 35, of Fort Walton, was quickly arrested by police after he told officers someone stole his precious stash of illegal drugs.

Blackmon was charged with resisting arrest without violence and possession of cocaine following his claim about the theft of $50 and his drugs.

The Miami Herald said, “He told a deputy who responded that he was a drug dealer and that someone had broken into his vehicle while it was parked, taking about $50 and a quarter ounce of cocaine.”

Authorities stated the responding officer “spotted cocaine” inside the car and “a crack rock on the center console.” However, no cash was found.

On Monday, Mr.Blackmon was released after posting $4,000 bail.
