Emotional moment at Janesville, WI rally with audience member, 2005 Miss Wisconsin Melissa Young .
At a campaign rally in Janesville, Tuesday, one audience member had a special message for Donald Trump. Melissa Consin Young, who was crowned Miss Wisconsin 11 years ago, wanted to thank Trump for the opportunities he gave her in 2005 that still benefit her family today. She is dying of an incurable disease, but says because of the opportunities afforded her as 2005 Miss Wisconsin, her 7-year-old son’s future is secure.
Autonomic failure is when the part of the brain that controls heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, respiration, digestion and most vital organs stops functioning. She says it was caused by doctors’ negligence during her pregnancy, and the disease has left her with a heart like that of an 88-year-old woman.
