Earlier today, we showed an email released by Wikileaks that reveals CNN’s Donna Brazile criticized President Obama’s economy shortly after she tweeted how great a job Obama has done with fixing the economy.
Now new emails released by WikiLeaks from Clinton campaign chair John Podesta have exposed a significant amount of correspondence between then DNC Vice-Chair Donna Brazile and the Clinton’s campaign team.
She wished Clinton luck before debates, pointed out areas where Clinton might trip up and promised that “as soon as the nomination is wrapped up, I will be your biggest surrogate.”
On January 4, 2016, Brazile also sent a heads-up to the Clinton campaign, letting them know that Bernie Sanders’ team was planning a “Twitter Storm” later that day.
Brazile forwarded a question to the Hillary camp that would be asked in the upcoming debate, with the subject line, “From time to time I get the questions in advance.” It is suspected someone from CNN leaked the debate question to her about the death penalty, and Brazile sent it over to Clinton’s team, saying “Here’s one that worries me about HRC.”
Podesta sent Brazile a “Happy New Year” message on January 3, 2016 and said, “Looking forward to working with you to help elect the first woman President of the United States.”
Brazile responded, “As soon as the nomination is wrapped up, I will be your biggest surrogate.”
On March 4, 2016, Brazile forwarded a press release that she thought Clinton’s debate team might find helpful:
On February 8, she forwarded a heads-up email from CNN:
Brazile collaborated with Clinton campaign chair John Podesta about what to say regarding Ted Cruz’s birthplace.
Brazile sent a message that former President Carter was trying to reach John Podesta:
She sent a good luck message to Podesta on January 17, before the debate that night, saying, “Time to let out the glory.”
Another good luck note – there is no evidence that Bernie Sanders received the same message.
