An ambulance worker from NYC is sure to be in big trouble if and when authorities figure out who he is. Allegedly, a patient was encouraged by the EMT worker to consume hard liquor while traveling to the hospital. To make matters worse, the EMT filmed it all.
The NY Post obtained a copy of the video.
In the video a FDNY EMT gives an intoxicated patient alcohol to consume while in the back of the ambulance taking her to the ER.
“The matter is under investigation,” said FDNY spokesman Jim Long.
While FDNY officials said it’s unclear if the video was taken in a city ambulance, EMTs told The Post the interior layout in the images is identical to that in FDNY ambulances.
