Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt revealed on Sunday that President Trump will sign a new executive order which will do away with the Clean Power Plan.

The plan was part of climate change legislation put in place by the Obama administration aimed to cut carbon emissions from U.S. power plants.

According to Pruitt, the Obama administration had “a very anti-fossil fuel strategy, coal, natural gas and the rest” and Trump intends to create jobs and lower electricity rates for consumers.

Pruitt also called the Paris Climate Act “a bad deal” for Americans.
