As the public impeachment hearing against President was underway Wednesday morning, defeated 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton weighed in on Twitter with a cryptic quote.

Clinton shared a photo and a quote from the 1974 impeachment hearings against then-President Richard Nixon, by Democrat Rep. Barbara Jordan, who delivered a 15-minute televised speech in front of the members of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee.

Clinton, in an obvious effort to apply Jordan’s quote about Nixon’s impeachment to President Trump, tweeted the following:

“Has the President committed offenses, and planned, and directed, and acquiesced in a course of conduct which the Constitution will not tolerate? That’s the question. We know that. We know the question. We should now forthwith proceed to answer the question.”—Barbara Jordan, 1974

In a radio interview on Tuesday, Clinton declared that she’s under “enormous pressure” to consider a 2020 White House bid, and while claiming it’s “not in her plans right now,” she said she will “never, never, never say never.”
