This month, a few US ambassadors asked for permission to fly the gay pride flag on their flagpoles. The State Department declined permission through official channels, although some embassies flew the flag on their own authority. The denial caused an uproar, with the administration being called out for “bigotry” and accused of seeking “to roll back LGBTQ rights.

Vice President Mike Pence was asked by NBC News about the situation, and he said he believed the decision to be justified

“His argument contained no reference to scripture or moral theology, but rather relied on the straightforward belief that where sovereign U.S. diplomatic outposts are concerned, the only flag that should be flown is the one with the 50 stars and 13 stripes,” National Review reports.

U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell, who is gay, also supported the decision.

“The President’s recognition of Pride Month and his tweet encouraging our decriminalization campaign gives me even more pride to once again march in the Berlin Pride parade, hang a huge banner on the side of the Embassy recognizing our pride, host multiple events at the Embassy and the residence, and fly the gay pride flag,” Grenell said.

He told CNN that he will hang a “huge banner on the side of the Embassy” during Pride Month.

With people fighting over which flag to fly at our US embassies, patriots are uniting behind a mission to spread the word that the US flag is an important symbol of freedom and unity that is there for ALL Americans to be proud of, regardless of race, religion, creed, or sexual orientation.

When NFL players first began disrespecting the national anthem and the U.S. flag by kneeling during the playing of the “Star Spangled Banner” before their games, DML News was inspired to create the “I Stand For My Flag” bumper sticker.

The bumper sticker has remained one of our most popular items, as American patriots across the nation have continued to use them to show they’re standing tall for the U.S. flag and the freedoms it represents.

THE BUMPER STICKER is just $4.99

It measures 3 inches by 8.25 inches and will be mailed via UPS.
