Democrat congresswoman Rashida Tlaib posted a message of encouragement to former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch  during her testimony before the House Intelligence Committee Friday, after President Trump criticized her on Twitter.

After Trump tweeted against Yovanovitch, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) read the tweet to her during the public hearing, and asked for her reaction. Yovanovitch responded that Trump’s message was “intimidating.”

Tlaib, who was just exposed late Thursday night as being under investigation by the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) for potential violations of federal law for requesting money from her 2018 campaign, posted a message to Yovanovitch.

“Dear Ambassador Yovanovitch, When this President comes after you on Twitter, take it as a badge of honor. You scare him. Let him fear your honesty, courage & love for our country. He will never fully comprehend what it means to be a public servant. The country is inspired by you,” Tlaib declared.
