President Trump held a press conference in the White House Rose Garden Monday morning, regarding a new North American Free Trade Agreement deal between the United States, Mexico and Canada.

After sharing details of the important new trade agreement, the president opened up the press conference to take questions from reporters. However, the very first question was not about the breaking-news trade agreement, but about Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, which clearly irritated the president.

The first exchange started off as follows:

President Trump to reporter: “She’s shocked that I picked her. She’s like in a state of shock.”
Reporter: “I’m not. Thank you, Mr. President.”
Trump: “That’s OK. I know you’re not thinking. You never do. No, go ahead. Go ahead.”
Reporter: “I’m sorry?”

The reporter, Cecilia Vega, then hit Trump with her question about Kavanaugh.

“What does that have to do with trade? I don’t mind answering the question, but I’d like to do the trade questions first,” Trump said. “How about talking about trade, and we’ll do that later. Does anybody have a trade question?”

Headlines have already emerged that Trump berates female reporters.

Another reporter tried to jump back to Kavanaugh, and Trump shut her down as well, saying, “Don’t do that, that’s not nice. Excuse me, do you have a question on trade?”

At one point, President Trump called the news media “loco”. Watch below.

Trump also told reporters, “I consider you all part of the Democratic Party.”

Other notable moments of the press conference are featured in the videos below:

A news conference means you get to ask whatever question you want to ask. #FirstAmendment
Cecilia, are you saying that the first amendment doesn’t pertain to the President of the United States?
This was his news conference and he can choose what questions he will acknowledge.
