Hannibal Buress is a comedian, actor, writer and producer.  Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Buress embarked on a comedy career in late 2009, gaining notable recognition after being featured in Comedy Central’s The Awkward Comedy Show, alongside various other comedians.  Since 2014, Hannibal Buress has also been featured on Comedy Central’s Broad City, created by Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer.

The widely popular comedian wasn’t laughing on Sunday morning when had to be physically pushed into a police car in Miami.

As shown in the video below, Buress was arrested after he exchanged words with two cops on a city street.

The video starts after he was handcuffed by police at around 2 AM Sunday.  Buress is shown leaning against the cop car, while challenging two officers to explain why he is being arrested.

One cop answered Buress by saying his arrest is due to trespassing.  But Buress barks back saying that he was not trespassing and thus, he would not get into the car.  “You’re looking foolish right now,” said Buress.

Onlookers asked police why the comedian was being arrested, but the cops did not answer.

After he refused to get in the police car, one officer decided enough was enough.  The cop forced Buress into the back seat of the cruiser and drove away.

A jail official told the gossip website, TMZ the arrest was for “disorderly intoxication.”   According to TMZ, Buress was released at around 6 AM after posting a $500 bond.

The video of the arrest is below.  Buress was all smiles for his mugshot.
