FBI Insider: Agency may miss terrorism in U.S. over political correctness

Dennis Michael Lynch interviewed former FBI agent, Cesar Paz on Monday during the Walk & Talk program.  After asking Mr. Paz about former FBI director James Comey and the testimony he provided last week, DML targeted the discussion towards to the threat of terror within the U.S., and how the FBI is going about combatting potential attacks.

DML asked Mr. Paz if political correctness hampers some of the investigations conducted by the FBI when reviewing potential terrorists.   DML cited the Chelsea bombings in NYC which were carried out last year by a Muslim man living in Staten Island, but who had traveled to Pakistan several times and had shown signs of radicalizing.   The FBI dropped their investigations into the man prior to the terror attack.

“Is there political correctness within the FBI,” asked DML.  Mr. Paz responded by saying the FBI did suffer from political correctness at the very top.  DML responded, “So we can miss potential attacks because of political correctness.”  Paz confirmed DML’s statement and went on to say it’s a very dangerous thing taking place within the agency.   You can watch the short clip below:
