FBI raids home, arrests white supremacist who said he trained Parkland shooter

On Wednesday, several FBI and law enforcement agents raided the home of Jordan Jereb, a white supremacist who said he had trained alleged Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz.

Cruz confessed to the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 people dead. Following the deadly mass shooting, Jereb claimed that Cruz had done paramilitary training with a small white supremacist group he leads.

The Hill reports: On Wednesday, several federal and state law enforcement agents showed up at the house owned by Jereb’s mother in Tallahassee, the Tallahassee Democrat reported.

Officials removed bagged items of evidence from the house, according to the paper.

Jereb was also taken away in handcuffs. The paper reported he was arrested for violating his probation. Jereb is on probation after threatening a member of Florida Gov. Rick Scott’s (R) staff in 2016.

The arrest comes more than a month after the Florida school shooting.
