More than a year ago, right after Trump was elected, I told my viewers and readers that a “Russia narrative” would surface — the media elite and deep state Democrats would try to stick Trump in a corner with nonsense about him being in bed with Putin and the Russians.
More than six months ago, I told my readers and viewers that the real collusion was between Clinton, Obama and the Russians, and that the investigation into Trump was nothing more than a slip of the hand — a genuine attempt to make it appear as if Putin wanted Trump to win, when really, it was Hillary he wanted to win. Why wouldn’t he? Clinton was instrumental in handing over the Uranium One deal. Certainly, there were more goodies to be had.
Today, it appears the corruption, collusion and wrongdoing were between Clinton, Obama, the DOJ, and the FBI.
GOP lawmakers are now focusing on FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. They want answers that fill in the gaps — they want to know exactly what and who are being referenced in a series of anti-Trump texts between two FBI officials, Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, who were members of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.
“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office – that there’s no way he gets elected – but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk,” Strzok texted to Page on Aug. 15, 2016. “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”
Many people, including yours truly, believes “Andy” refers to Mr. McCabe. It’s time we understand what role he played, and what he spoke about with Page and Strzok. In other words, America deserves the context of the texts.
The texts between Page and Strzok were revealed Tuesday night when the Justice Department released hundreds of messages between the two agents who admitted to being pro-Clinton.
Lawmakers are also troubled by newly released documents revealing that then-FBI Director James Comey’s draft statement on the Hillary Clinton email probe was edited numerous times in ways that seemed to water down the bureau’s findings.
