The latest in violent airline episodes caught on video took place yesterday on a Japanese ANA flight bound for Los Angeles, when two men started a fist fight as airline staff tried to pull them apart, prior to takeoff.
In the video, passengers can be heard begging the two to “please stop,” while a baby can be heard crying in the background. A man yells, “Someone help! This guy is crazy,” as a stewardess tries to stop the fight.
One of the men finally walks away, and the other shouts, “Get this guy off this plane!” Moments later, the man returns and begins throwing punches again.
Reports soon emerged that a 44-year-old American man who may have been drunk was charged with assault at Narita International Airport on Monday night.
