In Miami, a massive fist-fight broke out at a Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurant. Krystel Jimenez took out her cellphone and caught on tape a number of adults breaking into an all-out war of swinging fists and attacks. Kids were forced to scurry through the children’s party place to protect themselves.
“The fight started because one person was looking at [another] and instigating a problem when they went up to them, and their families got involved,” said Jimenez. She also believes the adults were drunk, despite the kid’s themed restaurant’s two-drink rule. No arrests were made, but several people were injured.
“We want to assure our guests that we take great measures to protect the experience children and families have in our stores, and we do not tolerate this kind of behavior,” a fellow spokesperson for the chain said on Monday.
