NEVADA: Arrested homicide suspect Alonso Perez is seen escaping from the handcuffs attaching his right wrist to a metal table bolted to the floor. It all happened at the North Las Vegas police office Thursday. After breaking off the handcuffs, the suspected murdered escaped.
In the video, after he frees himself from the cuffs, Perez returns to his seat and is later accompanied by the police chief. Perez sits calmly with his wrist on the bar when a police detective checks on him. However, when he was alone again, Perez climbed into the ceiling to make his escape. It took 25 minutes for the LVPD to realize he was no longer in the room.
