Steve Bannon, the 60-year-old Executive Chairman of Breitbart News Network, has been hired as Donald Trump’s campaign CEO after some minor campaign reshuffling to help win the election.

Before working in politics, Bannon served in the Navy for four years, working as an auxiliary engineer and a navigator aboard a destroyer at sea. Bannon’s daughter Maureen followed her father’s footsteps into military service, as a graduate of West Point and a lieutenant in the 101st Airborne Division.

The Breitbart News Network was founded in 2004 by the late Andrew Breitbart. Following his death in 2012, Bannon was appointed Executive Chairman.

Bannon has been involved with books and film about politics too. He produced a 2011 documentary “The Undefeated” about the political aspirations of Sarah Palin, and was involved with the publication of two books resulting from Government Accountability Institute investigations targeting both the Democratic and Republican political establishments.
