Janet Napolitano was the Director of Homeland Security during President Obama’s first term. One day, out of nowhere, she decided to resign from her job and become the president of the University of California System.
Perhaps we now know why she was so terrible at stopping illegal aliens from crossing the border — she wants them here! Yes, Janet announced this week that she will earmark $25.2 million to fund loan programs for illegal alien students across the system’s 10 campuses over the next three years.
“We are committed to continuing a path forward for undocumented students at the University of California,” Napolitano said in a press release. “This funding will further strengthen the university’s undocumented student initiative, and help ensure that these students receive the support and resources they need to succeed.”
She the $25.2 million is a 5-fold increase from the existing fund she originally set up three years ago for $5 million.
