Former Mexican President and outspoken Trump critic Vicente Fox issued a series of angry tweets on Friday bashing President Trump and urging the U.S. State Department to “take away the atomic toy” from his “little fingers” after Trump’s recent comments that he hasn’t ruled out military action in Venezuela and ongoing threats to retaliate against North Korea.

“Before you turn the world to ashes, why don’t you worry about your countrymen: health, growth, education. Leader of None!” Fox tweeted before appealing to the State Department to “shut @realDonaldTrump‘s mouth & take away the atomic toy from his hand or you’ll be equally responsible for destroying the world.”

Additional messages in his Twitter storm to President Trump included:

“@realDonaldTrump in Latinamerica we don’t your war, only an imbecile would wage war on his neighbor land. Violence it’s not the answer.”

“Donald, get it together! Your mouth is quicker than your mind: Venezuela needs a way out, but NOT through violence.”

“@realDonaldTrump take a dive into history, you’re wrecking the U.S. don’t wreck the world, just because you tweet faster than Maduro or Kim.”

“You don’t say. We’re all worried about your little fingers pushing the wrong buttons.

In remarks to reporters at his New Jersey golf club Friday, Trump said he wouldn’t rule out a “possible military option” in Venezuela. which he referred to as “America’s neighbor.” He added that military action is “certainly something that we could pursue.”

“Venezuela is not very far away, and the people are suffering and they’re dying,” stated Trump. “We have many options for Venezuela, including a possible military option if necessary.”

The President did not say whether American troops would lead a possible military effort in Venezuela, saying: “We don’t talk about it.”

Trump also addressed rising tensions with North Korea, saying “hopefully it will all work out” between Pyongyang and the U.S. “Nobody loves a peaceful solution better than President Trump, that I can tell you… But this has been going on for many years. It would have been a lot easier to solve this years ago before they’re in the position they’re in… But we will see what happens. We think that lots of good things could happen, and we could also have a bad solution.”

Trump comment’s came hours after issuing new threats against North Korea, tweeting that the US military is “locked and loaded” and Kim Jong Un would “truly regret it” if he attacks the U.S. territory of Guam as it has threatened.

Fox has been hating on President Trump since he first ran for election and promised to make Mexico pay for a wall he wants to build on the U.S.-Mexico border. Fox frequently uses Twitter to criticize the man.
