Former Mexican President Sends Condemning Tweet To Trump

The former president of Mexico, Vicente Fox, took aim at President Trump on Twitter over his remark about The New York Times.

In reference to Trump’s tweet blasting The NY Times for being “fake news,” Fox posted the tweet on Saturday morning:

“Donald, you’re a president. Behave like one. These rants are child play. Quit twitter, start being presidential.”

Fox has long been an outspoken critic of Trump’s and referred to him as a “wild animal” whose idea to build a wall bordering Mexico only displays his “economic ignorance.”

Fox recently appeared on CBC News and told reporters, “What we will never, ever, ever accept is to pay for that wall in Mexico. That’s a crazy idea; it’s out of any consideration.”

The two presidents feuded over proposals involving undocumented immigrants throughout Trump’s campaign trail leading up to the recent executive order that temporarily bans entry from seven nations with ties to terrorism.
