Interviews are getting underway Saturday for a new FBI director, to replace recently fired James Comey.

Officials at the Department of Justice will reportedly be interviewing four candidates for the job on Saturday, according to Politico.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein have already interviewed multiple candidates earlier this week, in the search for someone to serve as interim FBI director, and that process is still ongoing.

Saturday, the two will start the first interviews for a permanent FBI director – a 10-year term position that will require Senate confirmation.

The four candidates reportedly scheduled for interviews on Saturday are:

  • Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe
  • Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), former TX Attorney General
  • Alice Fisher, Former DOJ Criminal Division Chief
  • Michael Garcia, NY state judge and former US Attorney in Manhattan
