According to a network spokesperson, Fox News has decided to not renew contracts for several long time political commentators such as George Will, actress Stacey Dash and Republican strategist Ed Rollins.
In June of 2016, Will, a Pulitzer prize winner and conservative columnist, announced that he was leaving the Republican Party because of Donald Trump.
At the time, Trump seemed in favor of Wills decision tweeting, “George Will, one of the most overrated political pundits (who lost his way long ago), has left the Republican Party. He’s made many bad calls”

Bill O’Reilly called Will “a hack” after he once said that O’Reilly’s book, “Killing Reagan,” was “nonsensical.”
Dash, who is a Republican, is best known for her role in the 1995 comedy, “Clueless.” She was signed to the network in 2014 and frequented the afternoon political discussion show “Outnumbered.”
Ed Rollins, a political strategist, joined Fox in 2011. He currently co-chairs the pro–Trump Great America PAC.
Other commentators to not have their contracts renewed by the network were Marvin Kalb, a veteran journalist and Cal Thomas, a syndicated columnist and radio commentator.
Fox News added to the contributor line-up, Nigel Farage, the former U.K. Independence Party leader.
Farage, who spoke openly in support of Brexit, has been a vocal advocate for President Trump.
