On Thursday, a “Free Speech Bus” with social conversation message about only two genders has been vandalized in New York with slogans that show support for the transgender community, reports Mediaite.
The bus was allegedly parked outside the United Nations (UN) headquarters for a scheduled event on Thursday evening, “when two activists approached it, scratched it with a key, cracked windows with a hammer and painted ‘Trans Liberation’ slogans on it,” according to Brian Brown, president of the National Organization for Marriage (NOM), who told USA Today.
“Boys are boys and girls are girls—it’s very simple,” Brown said about his tour message. “We don’t want men in girl’s restrooms. We don’t want schools and our law attempting to say that people are bigoted simply because they understand that there’s a difference between male and female.”
When asked by the alleged vandalism, the NOM co-organizer also stated: “If they thought that would silence us, they were totally wrong.”
At the time of the incident, people traveling on the bus were inside attending the UN for an event, but the driver was with the vehicle, Brown claimed. He reportedly tried to protect the bus and was tackled, though not hurt by one of the vandals, said the report.
The NOM took to Twitter on Thursday to call on leaders of LGBT groups to condemn the vandalism.

The NOM’s post sparked a lively debate with several Twitter commenters defended the defacement, including the leftist New York City Antifa group.

The “Free Speech Bus” bus tour along the East Coast is organized by several groups—the National Organization for Marriage, Citizen Go, a social activist group, and the International Organization for the Family, a D.C.-based group that encourages “the natural family.”
This particular bus is reportedly based off a similar one set up by activists in Madrid. After Spanish transgender activists put up posters reading, “There are girls with penises and boys with vulvas. It’s as simple as that,” a conservative Catholic group drove around a bus with the opposite message: “Boys have penises, girls have vulvas. Do not be fooled.”
The bus was eventually impounded by officials when the Madrid City Council unearthed a municipal code banning outdoor advertising. Liberals applauded the decision, including Chelsea Clinton.
Please don’t bring these buses to the U.S. (or anywhere). https://t.co/WEvIIptmxf
