Funding Source Exposed That Bused Protesters To DC

John Beacham, the head coordinator of the ANSWER Coalition in Chicago, wanted to send dozens of youth to DC on Jan 20 to protest Trump’s inauguration.

Beacham, who is the activist organizer of the mass anti-Trump protests occurring in Chicago, accomplished his goal by crowdsourcing and funding buses from Chicago to DC to protest.

Believing that all youth in America will suffer at the hands of the Trump administration, Beacham managed to pay protesters to cause a ruckus in the country’s capital with thousands of other people. Bus tickets were $120 a person. About $2,500 through a GoFundMe was raised to send a handful of young Chicago adolescents to D.C., though Beacham’s intended goal was $3,600.

In his call to action, Beacham labels Trump and his cabinet as “white supremacists, climate change deniers, war mongers and aggressive billionaires.”  He also identifies the administration as a “danger to humanity.”
