According to a new Gallup poll, President Trump has racked up a staggering disapproval rating amongst American citizens since coming into power ten days ago.

Accumulating a 51 percent disapproval rating amongst 1,500 Americans surveyed, Trump has officially broken a record on how long it typically takes the majority of Americans to disapprove of a president.

While, on average, it takes presidents a few hundred days to reach a majority disapproval rating, it took Trump only eight days.

It took former President George W. Bush over a thousand days to reach a large majority in disapproval ratings, while Former President Obama reached a 51 percent majority in August 2011, following his rise to the presidency in 2009.

When asked for a comment about the Gallup poll, Dennis Michael Lynch has this to say, “Of course his disapproval will be high.  Trump’s transition into the White House has been anything but pleasant because the mainstream media has declared an all out ‘war on Trump.’  Until real news takes over, the liberal media will control his approval ratings.”

Hundreds of thousands of protesters came out in force over the past two weekends to protest Trump’s actions, to include at the historic Women’s March last week.
