Hollywood Star George Lopez has never been a fan of Trump, or law enforcement, but Friday he called on the President to “deport police officers if he wants to make the streets safer.”

Lopez, who in the past has said President Trump could “suck his a**”, took to Instagram Friday to rant about the Trump Administration’s immigration policy.

“The Trump administration is deporting Latinos to make the streets safer…. You wanna make the streets safer deport the police,” said the 56-year-old.

He then qualified his post saying, “This is not an indictment of all Law Enforcement, some still just beat you, #gacho#georgelopezonhbo #TheWall ( @momorodriguez #gracias.”

Last July, Lopez was pessimistic about Trump’s prospects of defeat, noting Trump’s campaign points on immigration were falling on willing ears. “There’s enough racists in this country for him to get elected,” the celeb quipped to TMZ.

Followers of Lopez’s Instagram account quickly lashed out at his post. anna_calderon3 wrote, “Wrong!!! Mad respect for Law Enforcement!!!!!” and sweetpea6318 wrote, “Not a very smart comment from a celebrity. We should all be coming together.”
