GOP vs Dems, who raised more money in February?

A Tuesday report from Roll Call shows February fundraising totals for Democrats are lacking compared to those for Republicans.

Despite increased donations in the months immediately following President Trump’s election, fundraising numbers for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) have slowed.

A report filed with the Federal Election Commission showed the DSCC raised $3.8 million during February and had about $7.7 million in cash at the end of the month.

This is in vast contrast to National Republican Senatorial Committee numbers. The GOP raised $5.1 million in February and exited the month with over $10.2 million in cash.
