Gov Huckabee responds to Trump Jr saga

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee tweeted his opinion about the latest Democratic conspiracy theory, which is the Donald Trump Jr. Russian lawyer scandal, an incident with questionable ties.

On Wednesday, Huckabee tweeted: “America is tired of listening to the main stream press and Democrats trying to find blood when there isn’t any.”

Huckabee’s tweet included a Fox Business video interview in which he defends Trump Jr.

In the interview, Huckabee noted that Trump Jr. had never been involved in a campaign before. “Somebody says I may have some information that will help you, opposition research on Hillary – of course he takes the meeting.”

Huckabee noted that the meeting was “so exciting” the other people who attended, President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort, either left or stopped paying attention.

Trump Jr. himself felt the meeting was a waste of time, Huckabee says, and he thinks that’s how America feels right now.

“America right now wishes that it could get up and walk out, get on its phone or maybe just end the meeting rather than having to listen to the mainstream press and the Democrats, but then I repeat myself, go over and over the same scenario and continually try to find some blood when there isn’t any,” Huckabee said.
