Graphic photos released of ISIS brutalizing innocents (video)

On Saturday, the Syrian state media reported that jihadists are being beaten back as the Syrian government attempts to gain full control of the last major town in the Homs province previously held by ISIS, according to Reuters.

Furthermore, in the town of al-Sukhna, ISIS militants were reported killed and their weapons destroyed.

However, Breitbart reports that the Islamic State is releasing propaganda photos to make it appear they have control of the district of Damascus.

The photos, which are undated, show police inspectors from the Islamic State patrolling the markets, checking expiration dates of products for sale, and punishing people who they deem in violation of Islamic State rules.

In the photos, ISIS authorities are seen scolding men who have dared to shave their beards and whipping a person accused of smoking a cigarette, which is against Islamic law.

Additional photos show a man’s hand cut off for stealing, and men accused of being gay thrown from a rooftop.

Reuters further reported Saturday:

“The jihadists have lost swathes of Syrian territory to separate campaigns being waged by government forces backed by Russia and Iran, and by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic (SDF) Forces, which is dominated by the Kurdish YPG militia. The SDF is currently focused on capturing Raqqa city from Islamic State.

“Islamic State controls nearly all of Deir al-Zor province, which is bordered to the east by Iraq. The Syrian government still controls a pocket of territory in Deir al-Zor city, and a nearby military base.”

The following video, recently published, contains disturbing footage of the ongoing battle in Damascus between Islamic State fighters and the Syrian Army.
