Greenpeace protesters arrested at Trump Tower

The people who make up the organization Greenpeace don’t agree with President Trump when it comes to the climate accord agreement he rejected to sign in the spring.   So, they decided to hang a banner from Trump Tower in Chicago on Friday.  The banner reads “Resist, Defend.”

According to a website called the Chicagoist, seven of the Greenpeace protesters were arrested for hanging the banner from Trump Tower.

The Greenpeace admins posted on Facebook how proud they are of the protesters:
“Activists have just raised a massive banner at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago to show this administration that the people of Chicago — and people all over the country — will continue to RESIST Trump’s attacks on our clean air and water, and defend our communities and the planet!”
