Griffin to hold press conference alleging bullying by Trump family

Kathy Griffin, the “comedian” who sickened the nation this week by releasing a photo of herself holding a fake “decapitated” head resembling Donald Trump will now hold a press conference to explain why she did it… including the claim that she has been “bullied” by the Trump family since the incident.

Griffin’s new high-profile attorney, Lisa Bloom, made the announcement Thursday evening, posting a message that said, “Proud to announce that I represent Kathy Griffin. We will be holding a press conference tomorrow morning. Here’s the details.”

The announcement states that the press conference will be held Friday at 9am local time in Woodland Hills, California, where “Ms. Griffin and Ms. Bloom will explain the true motivation behind the image, and respond to the bullying from the Trump family she has endured.”

A person commenting back to Bloom on Twitter wrote, “I happen to love @kathygriffin. Witch hunts are exhausting. Brava, @LisaBloom.” Bloom responded back with, “I love her too.”

Bloom hasn’t wasted any time going after the Trump family – she started slamming Donald Trump Jr Thursday evening over his attack on children’s author Ken Jennings, who mocked 11-year-old Barron for being frightened by the gory beheading photo.

“President’s son tries to get author fired for a joke he didn’t like,” Bloom taunted.

Two minutes later she blasted out another one, saying, “President’s son, who is supposed to be staying out of politics, trying to punish an author for a joke he doesn’t like.”

Griffin issued an “apology” for the horrific stunt Tuesday evening, and Bloom tweeted out, “It takes a lot of class to apologize like this, without excuses or reservations.”

This isn’t the first time Lisa Bloom has launched an attack on Donald Trump.  During the 2016 presidential campaign season, Bloom filed a lawsuit on behalf of a woman identified as “Katie Johnson” who tried to claim Trump raped her in 1994 when she was 13 years old, then had to withdraw the lawsuit when the woman’s story fell apart.
