Gunman opens fire at Lille metro station

Days after a terrorist attack in London resulted in the death of five people, a gunman shot and wounded three people outside of an underground train station in France.   Authorities say the  gunman appeared to be motivated by “a settling of accounts.”

French police have determined the attack was not an act of terrorism.  The attack took place outside the Porte d’Arras metro station.

Authorities say the attacker pulled his car up to the station and specifically targeted the three victims. It appears this was a settling of scores. None of the injuries are life threatening.  The gunman remains on the run.
