Hannity attends private dinner with Trump and Scaramucci

Late Wednesday evening, Fox News Channel anchor, and long-time Trump supporter, Sean Hannity had a private dinner with President Trump and his new White House communications director, Anthony Scaramucci.

According to sources, a senior White House official said the dinner included discussions about “overhauling the West Wing staff and political strategy.”

Former FOX executive Bill Shine was also in attendance at the dinner, held in the Blue Room of the White House. Shine was the co-president of Fox News until being forced to resign earlier this spring, following the sexual harassment scandals involving the late Roger Ailes and ousted FOX star, Bill O’Reilly.

Since his new appointment at the White House, Scaramucci, who is a former Fox News contributor, has promised to stop the leaks coming out of the White House. He is friends with both Hannity and Shine, and reportedly wanted to get their advice about “reorganizing the communications operation,” The Washington Post reported.

Scaramucci has already eliminated one alleged leaker, former assistant press secretary Michael Short.

On Monday evening, Hannity’s opening monologue on his show was a powerful call for Americans who voted for President Trump to “stand up and fight for what we voted for!”

“It’s time for the American people to draw a line in the sand, start pushing back hard and fighting for your agenda, because you deserve to get the agenda that you fought so hard for and voted for on November 8,” Hannity said, pounding away, point by point, on many issues and crimes committed within the Obama administration and by Hillary Clinton that should be under investigation, but aren’t.

While the mainstream media and the Left are so busy with their Russian collusion witch hunt, “there are actual, real scandals and actual crimes that are completely being ignored in this country,” Hannity said, adding that Americans better start demanding congressional hearings and investigations.

The conservative host brought up Hillary Rodham Clinton, saying we all know how she mishandled classified information and deleted 33,000 emails from her private server. However, nobody in the Trump organization smashed their mobile devices with a hammer, he noted, adding that Hillary Clinton’s lawyers finally turned over all of the blackberries and other devices to the FBI, but minus their SIM cards.

He observed that when Clinton was secretary of state, she personally signed off on giving up to 20 percent of America’s uranium to Putin and the Russians – a real Russian conspiracy that no one is covering in the media. He then played a video clip of Hillary Clinton saying in 2016 that she had foreign leaders asking to endorse her to “help stop Donald Trump.”

The Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol put up a Twitter post mocking Trump’s dinner with Hannity, asking, “Would the scene of the president of the United States having dinner with Scaramucci, Hannity and Shine be featured in Act 1 of… a comedy? a tragedy? a farce? a play that closes day 1?”
