Sean Hannity channeled his inner Archie Bunker in response to an outrageous tweet by filmmaker Rob Reiner, who used to play a liberal on the 70’s sitcom “All in the Family” and still apparently possesses the same political opinions that his character did.

Less than two weeks after a liberal gunman sprayed bullets at GOP members playing baseball, seriously wounding Republican U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) and several others, Reiner issued his own seditious statement on Twitter:

“When Fox says that DT colluding with the enemy is not a crime, the fight to save Democracy is now an all out war,” Reiner tweeted. “US-Stay strong.” He added a “treason” hashtag.

Reiner has been known to call for war in reaction to the Trump administration, having said just after the election that the United States was now “fighting the last big major battle since the Civil War.”

He has also compared Russian involvement in the election to the bombing of Pearl Harbor and was heard on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” before the election calling Trump supporters “a lot of people who are racists.”

Going back to the days when Archie Bunker used to call his son-in-law, played by Reiner, a “meat head,” Hannity aired his own feelings about the filmmaker’s call for war, labeling him a “dumb ass.”
