Hannity Tweet on GOP: ‘I’m tired of vacation, vacation, vacation!’

Sean Hannity took to Twitter this morning to echo calls for Congress to cancel their traditional month-long August recess and instead commit to remaining in Washington to work on high-priority agenda items.

“Congress needs to start moving. I’m tired of ‘vacation, vacation, vacation.’ GET TO WORK AND DO THE JOB YOU WERE HIRED TO DO!” Hannity tweeted.

Congress is currently at an impasse on healthcare reform, has made no progress on tax reform and are facing delayed appropriations bills.

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway also criticized Congress on Monday, claiming that they are not used to moving at the pace of a “disruptor” like Trump. Conway also contended that members should stop thinking about midterm elections and focus on “solutions.”
