Hillary Clinton Calls on Trump to Condemn Anti-Semitism

On Tuesday, Hillary Clinton called on Donald Trump to condemn recent anti-Semitic hate crimes.

According to The Washington Post, anti-semitic hate crimes have been on the rise in recent years and have continued since Trump took office in January. The report said over a dozen Jewish community centers received threatening phone calls on Monday, while a Jewish cemetery near St. Louis was vandalized.

Hillary Clinton took to Twitter and said, “JCC threats, cemetery desecration & online attacks are so troubling & they need to be stopped. Everyone must speak out, starting with POTUS.”

This morning, President Trump was asked by a reporter to comment on the hate crimes. The president responded, “They are terrible, and they need to stop.”
