Hillary Clinton says she stands ready to be the president. She made the comment Wednesday night on Comedy Central when she was interviewed by Trevor Noah of “The Daily Show.”
Noah opened his segment with Clinton by playing several clips from Fox News that heard conservative pundits, including Sean Hannity, mistakenly referring to her as president.
Noah asked, “How does that make you feel?”
“I’ve noticed this seems to be a theme with them, yes,” Clinton said, referring to the pundits. “And I can only say if they want to make that world a reality, I’m still ready.”
Clinton has been hitting the speaking and television circuit in recent weeks since the release of her book, “What Happened,” which details her 2016 election loss to President Trump.
In the interview, she also went on to say that Trump has no empathy for the American people. Her comment came when speaking about how Trump has handled the recent tragedies in Las Vegas and New York City.
