On Fox & Friends Wednesday morning, former Governor Mike Huckabee had a strong warning against including Mitt Romney in Trump’s administration as Secretary of State.
Huckabee said, “It’s not that I don’t care for Mitt personally, but he did everything he could to derail Donald Trump.”
He said Romney didn’t just go after Trump on how he disagreed with him on policy – he attacked him on a personal level, about his character, integrity and honor.
Huckabee said the only way Romney should even be considered for a post in the Trump administration is if he would first go to a microphone in a public place and repudiate everything he said about Trump.
Romney had called Trump a con-man, a phony and a fraud during the campaign.
He said it would be an insult to all the voters who supported Trump if Romney were appointed for the position.
