After CNN host Reza Aslan referred to President Trump as “a piece of s—” for suggesting that the safety and security of the United States was important, Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) had his own message for Aslan, suggesting Aslan may not have any brains left.

President Donald Trump posted a tweet Saturday following the latest terror attacks in London, calling on U.S. courts to approve his executive order that would prevent unvetted people from six Muslim-majority countries to access the U.S., pending a better vetting system.

In response, CNN’s Alsan tweeted: “This piece of sh** is not just an embarrassment to America and a stain on the presidency. He’s an embarrassment to humankind.

The following day, Huckabee, a longtime Trump supporter,  joined the fray with a zinger aimed at Aslan. He tweeted: “CNN host Reza Asian [sic] calls Donald Trump POS-same guy who ate human brain on TV. Must have been his own brain.”

Huckabee was referring to an episode of Aslan’s CNN show “Believer.” During one controversial episode, Aslan sat with a shunned, Aghori guru from an extremist sect of Hinduism that engages in cannibalism. With his face coated in crematory ash, Aslan and the guru sampled human brain together. The episode was widely condemned.
