Hundreds Of Teens Arrive At Philly Mall For “Flash Mob” Fight

The Philadelphia Police Department announced four young people were arrested Tuesday night for a planned mall fight at Philadelphia Mills Mall. This incident is just one of many that have occurred at malls since Monday.

ABC News Philadelphia reported that anywhere from 300 and 400 juveniles rode buses to the mall after the “flash mob” fight was orchestrated over social media.

Cops were tipped off about the teens planning to go there and were able to keep a large majority of them outside as they arrived.

Approximately 90 teens were able to slip through the cracks, cause pandemonium inside, and some even attacked police officers.

“When they got in the food court area, that’s when they began acting disorderly. They were running around, jumping on tables and chairs, yelling and screaming,” said Philadelphia Chief Inspector Scott Small.

“These teenagers were able to get on social media, specifically Snapchat, and they were able to all meet up at this location,” Small said.
